In this month’s Cookie’s Community, Devon shares his experience working with the customer service team and talks about a few of his favorite things.

How long have you worked at Cookie’s?

Six years ago I started as a bag checker at the Flatbush location. Two years later I began working in customer service. I’ve been there ever since.

What’s an interesting part about working in customer service here?

Customer service is fascinating because of who I get to work with. Everyone has a unique personality and a lot of experience in the industry.

What’s something surprising about working here?

On one of my birthdays I came back to my desk to find it decked out with streamers, confetti, presents – the works. I definitely wasn’t expecting that.

Do you have any special talents?

Singing.

What’s an ideal weekend look like for you?

The beach. Sometimes it takes a while to get there, but once I’m there and settled down, it’s amazing. The beaches on Long Island are my favorite, but now that Coney Island is cleaned up, that’s great too.

What’s your favorite cookie (to eat)?

Macadamia.
